Easy and quick Ramadan recipies



So,finally Ramadan kareem is here!
As we all know it is a time of fasting and spiritual purification.But another important aspect of this month begin after the sun sets.When familes gather together to break the daily fast over a joyous Iftar. Iftar time is the most awaited period in 24 hours. Personally my favorite as well.
To make your Iftar more delicious and joyful I am sharing some easy and quick recipies, that are must try recipies. And you'll love them.

1.Fruit Salad

This is a sweet simple dish,ofcourse a favourite of mine. The perfect dessert dish.

Ingredients
Chilled cream
Sugar
Custard
Banana
Strawberries
Pineapples
Grapes
Cashews
Walnuts
Dried figs
Pistas
(Or you can add your favourite fruits or dry fruits to it)

How to make
Mix cream,custard and sugar in a bowl.
Add chopped fruits to the bowl.
Beat well.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Garnish with dry fruits before serving.

2.Bread rolls

Bread rolls are amazing Iftar snack and very easy to make.

Ingredients
Bread slices
Mashed potatoes
Green chillies
Red chilly powder
Salt
Oil
Dhania

How to make
Add green chillies, Salt and red chilly powder to the mashed potatoes.
Roll the bread slices with a roller(belan).
Make the filing of mashed potatoes.
Take the filling in a spoon and spread over the bread and roll the bread and close the endings with toothpick.
Deep fry the bread rolls.
Serve hot with chutney.

3.Potato fritters

This is the simplest way of making fritters;slice,dip and fry.And a full bowl of fritters are there for you.

Ingredients
2 large potatoes
1 cup besan
1 cup rice flour
1 teaspoon red chilly powder
A pinch of turmeric
Salt to taste
A spring of finely chopped dhania

How to make
Wash and peel the potatoes.
Slice the potatoes with even thickness,preferably using a processor or hand held slicer.
Mix all other ingredients in a bowl.
Add water and combine to form a thin paste without lumps.
If the paste becomes too watery,add a little more rice flour.
Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
Dip the slices in the batter,so that they are fully coated.
Drop into the hot oil and fry till the both sides turn golden brown.
Serve piping hot off the flame with tomato sauce and a cup of tea.

4.Spanish omlette
This is the most mouth watering thing.I had tried this recipe today in the morning.But you can have it in the Iftar.

Ingredients
Eggs
Salt to taste
Pepper
Potato
Onion
Tomato
Mozerella cheeze

How to make
Take some oil in a pan.And fry the fine chopped veggies to it.
Fry them on a medium flame till it becomes smooth.
Beat the eggs with some salt and pepper in it.
Now pour half of the egg batter in the pan and after 1 min add the veggie stuffing over it.
Cover the veggie stuffing with the mozerella cheeze.
And then add the remaining stuffing of veggies.
After that pour the remaining egg batter over this.
And cover it with a lid.
Keep the flame on high for first 2 minutes and then reduce it to medium flame for 5-6 mins.
Do the same thing for the other side as well.
And eat your delicious hot spanish omlette.

5.Onion rings

This recipe soo easy to make,with a tasteful taste and a golden crunch.

Ingredients
Onions
Eggs
Breadcrumbs
Salt
Pepper
Dhaniya powder

How to make
Cut the onions horizontally into slices.
And separate every onion ring with very delicacy.
Beat the eggs with some salt and pepper in it.Mix dhaniya powder and mint powder to it.
Dip the onions in the egg batter and dust it with breadcrumbs.
Do the same process for almost 5-6 times and then fry them separately in hot oil,till the rings become golden yellow in colour.
Don't over fry the onion rings.
Take them out on a tissue,in order to remove extra oil.
Enjoy your rings with green chilly chutney or with yellow cheeze sauce or with mayonnaise.
